Description
If it is critical that you maintain running water outdoors in cold weather, this is the hose you should use.
These hoses are often used on farms to supply water to outbuildings. They have heating cables embedded in the hose wall to keep water flowing in temperatures as low as -42°F (-41°C). A built-in thermostat automatically activates the heating cables as soon as the temperature drops below 45°F (7°C).
The hose is made from durable PVC with an abrasion-resistant silicone outer layer for durability, and plastic grips on both ends to prevent kinks. Fittings are made from nickel-plated brass.
Available in 25' and 50' lengths with a 5/8" inside diameter, drawing 180W for the 25' and 360W for the 50'. It is MET certified and meets FDA standards for use with potable water.
