This hose is custom made to our specifications with a durable hybrid polymer material that is supple and lightweight for easy handling. With no spool memory, it uncoils neatly, lies flat in use, and winds onto a reel or hose hanger without a fight. It also resists kinking and remains flexible even in cool temperatures that would make typical hoses stiff.
Each end of the hose has a tough plastic swivel collar designed to improve grip when tightening or loosening the threaded fittings. These collars also eliminate kinks at the faucet when you are pulling the hose to get those last few inches of reach. The threaded fittings are solid brass and have a thick O-ring gasket on the faucet end for a reliable seal.
We offer standard 5/8" inside diameter hose (flow rate of the 50' hose is about 23 gallons per minute at 60 psi) as well as 3/4" hose for faster flow (flow rate of 50' hose is about 30 gallons per minute at 60 psi). They are brightly colored to ensure they are readily seen in the grass, helping to prevent you from tripping, or worse, running over them with the mower.
