The interface pad dampens the application pressure when sanding very soft compounds. This creates perfect surfaces even on very soft substrates. The interface pad is simply attached to the Planex abrasive pad with a hook-and-loop fastener, then you can work with an abrasive as usual (we recommend Granat Net).
