Made of three plies of tough paper interwoven and twisted for added strength and wear resistance, the Danish cord we offer is produced by a company based in Denmark for nearly 200 years, though the cord is now manufactured only in Lithuania.
The plies of the unlaced cord are more loosely twisted than in the laced version (available separately), and when woven, create a smooth texture and a unified look. The 3mm cord has a break strength of 54kg and comes in natural colored (200m spool) or black (100m spool).
L-shaped nails for new-seat construction are also available separately.
