Accu-Burr Burnishing RodMade in U.S.A.

Quantity:

By varying the hook angle burnished onto the edge of a cabinet scraper, you can alter its cutting action to suit the application. Unlike a conventional burnisher, this innovative carbide burnisher has three precision-ground V-shaped grooves, each of which rolls precise, repeatable hooks at a specific angle.

Using only light force, you just draw it flat along the edge and the V-grooves take care of the angle for you, forming symmetrical hooks on both sides of the scraper edge at the same time. You can choose a 5° hook angle for fine work, 10° for moderate scraping, or 15° for aggressive action.

Effective on any shape of scraper from 0.010" to 0.100" thick, it can also function as a conventional burnisher by using the ungrooved portion of the 3/16" diameter rod.

The 3" rod can be used as is, or you can add your own handles. The same rod is also available fitted with turned brass handles.
