A combined featherboard and hold-down, the 7" universal featherboard uses two patented magnetic clamps (with a combined breakaway strength of about 190 lb on cast iron) to mount on any ferrous machine surface. Opposing rows of flexible fingers allow use on either side of a table-saw blade.
Each clamp contains two powerful rare-earth magnets. In the "on" position, the magnets align, instantly attaching. With the turn of a knob, the magnets counteract each other for easy removal or repositioning. It can also be attached to machines that have no miter slot, enhancing their safety.
Molded from durable ABS, this is a versatile machine accessory.
