The same top used on our Veritas Table for Compact Routers is available separately, as it can be clamped to the edge of a workbench or sawhorse for use without the base, or built into your own custom-made version of the table.
The 15 1/2" × 11 1/2" table top is milled from 18mm Baltic birch plywood with a low-friction laminate surface. To mount your compact router, the table top has a machined opening that accepts the Veritas Compact Router Base Plate (offered separately) and comes with five levelling screws that let you fine-tune the base plate height so it sits dead flush with the table surface. Two of the levelling screws also serve as insert nuts, accepting the two mounting bolts used to attach the base plate to the table.
One of those mounting screws can be replaced with the included pivot post for routing curves. Two keyhole slots allow you to mount a fence or other accessories using T-bolts (not included). A sturdy, versatile table top that will greatly extend the utility of your compact router.
