The Lancelot woodcarver is particularly useful for major wood removal in sculpting (busts, chair seats, etc.), but is also invaluable for builders, plumbers and electricians for cutting floor openings, notching and grooving for conduit and wires, or fitting.
It has a 22-tooth circlet held between two stainless-steel discs. 4" in diameter, it mounts on a 4" or 4 1/2" angle grinder with either a 5/8" or a 7/8" arbor. Circlets are resharpenable (using a 5/32" chain-saw file) and replaceable.
The versatility and ease of operation of the tool are remarkable. You have to use one before you can fully appreciate the speed and smoothness of cut. Maximum 14,000 rpm.
