This 36" × 48" plan is complemented with a detailed and well-written instruction book that contains a bill of materials, a cutting list, jig and fixture plans (where necessary), alternative construction notes and suggested finishing techniques.

Shaker sewing stands have a special charm that suits almost any décor. The dovetailed drawer opens from both ends of the table and the legs have a sliding dovetail to support them in the base. Step-by-step instructions walk you through the difficult part of cutting the dovetails. When complete, the stand measures 29" high by 24" wide and 19" deep.
