35mm Stud Finder with Magnet

Quantity:

Standard electronic stud finders can occasionally deliver “false positives.” This low-tech version alleviates this issue and works best as a complement to regular stud finders to help confirm the presence of a stud.

It uses a 0.027" diameter needle to penetrate a wall (the tiny hole can be easily filled with a spot of paint), letting you feel for resistance right behind the drywall.

A printed scale shows wall depth up to 35mm, and a thumb-operated lock function prevents the needle from extending when not in use, keeping it protected in your tool kit.

The detector has an internal rare-earth magnet that produces an audible signal when it encounters screws or nails, which can also confirm the presence of a stud.

Includes two replacement needles.
