This tool greatly simplifies the process of cutting your own leather straps of a precise width up to 4". It has a broad fence that registers against the straight edge of the material, and a blade on the end of a movable arm that can be positioned at a consistent offset from that edge.

Cut width can be set by direct-reading against a strap you want to match exactly, or set to a particular measurement by using the Imperial and metric graduations marked on the arm. Requiring very little effort, set-up time or practice to use effectively, it makes clean, neatly defined cuts in leather up to 1/8" thick (8 oz). A more reliable method than cutting freehand with only a straightedge and knife.

Made of hardwood, with steel fittings and blade; replacement blades sold separately.
