Mapleware Tongs

Quantity:

Made by a small family-run business in Québec, these tongs are certainly pleasing to the eye, but what really won us over is their flex and maneuverability.

Each pair is shaped from a single piece of hard maple, with two slender arms that are flexible enough to pinch closed, springing back open when released. Their fine, pointed tips and gently curved shape make them easy to control when cooking or serving.

Made to last, they are carefully formed and smoothed to avoid cracking and splintering, and finished with food-grade mineral oil and beeswax. Available in two sizes, one about 8 1/4" long and the other 10 1/2". Hand wash only.

As with any item made from natural materials, minor variations in size, appearance and other characteristics are to be expected.
