This fixture lets you set up a plug-in location for electronics on a counter or desktop. Made from aluminum with a satin finish, it stands 4 1/2" tall on a central post and pivots just over 300° to allow easy access from all sides.
The two standard grounded sockets are widely spaced to accommodate bulky transformer plugs, and the two USB charge ports provide power for mobile devices. Independent switches control the sockets and USB charge ports.
It can be installed in any surface up to 1 1/8" thick simply by drilling a 32mm (1 1/4") diameter hole for the cord and mount and securing it from below the surface with the provided nut and U-shaped washer plate. A minimum of 3" of vertical space is needed beneath the mounting surface.
The elevation of the sockets helps protect them from splashes and spills.
The 78 3/4" long cable plugs into standard grounded outlets. The sockets are rated to 120V AC, 10A and the USB charge ports are rated to 5V DC, 2100mA. This non-surge-protected fixture is ETL approved for Canada and the USA.
