A practical accessory for the garden weathervanes we sell, this simple, low-tech gauge lets you monitor rainfall.
It has a bracket made from zinc-plated steel for rust resistance, and durable powder-coat paint with a clear topcoat to protect against UV rays. It slides onto the weathervane’s ground stake and holds a glass tube marked with Imperial and metric graduations (to 5” in increments of 10ths of an inch and to 12.3cm in millimetre increments). The tube simply lifts out of the bracket for drainage.
