Long-Handled Round-Point Shovel

This item is not available for this region.

For any number of digging tasks around the yard and garden, a round-point shovel is one of the most often-used tools in the shed.

This long-handled version has a fiberglass shaft with a steel insert that gives adequate leverage while letting you work from an upright position. It has two gripping surfaces: a PVC end-grip and a textured surface above the socket for extra leverage when transferring (not digging) heavy material.

Made of 14 gauge hardened carbon steel that is powder coated for rust resistance, the 11 1/2" × 8 1/2" head is attached to the handle by dual rivets and a stainless-steel collar. The large textured treads provide a wider surface than typical steps for better foot registration.

Measures just over 58" long and weighs 5 lb 12 oz.
