Rust Remover Concentrate & Gel

These water-based rust removers help restore tools, auto parts, or other corroded items made of steel or iron. Non-toxic and non-corrosive, they work through selective chelation to bond with oxidized iron and hold it in solution without harming the metal.

Available in a liquid concentrate or as a gel. For immersing rusted items from 30 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the severity of the rust, the liquid concentrate is diluted with water to produce up to 5 litres of solution and is reusable until effectiveness is lost. The gel coats surfaces and remains wet for extended periods, making it ideal for items too large to dip into a solution. Coverage varies with the degree of corrosion, but is typically between 5 and 10 sq.ft. Neither the concentrate nor the gel will damage plastics, rubber, most paints, or non-ferrous metals.
